Dr. O. Bruce Case is a board Certified General Surgeon who practices in North Atlanta. He has privileges at Northside Hospital Forsyth and Emory John's Creek Hospital.  Dr Case is originally from Jamaica and graduated from University of the West Indies School of Medicine  in 1988. He completed internship in the Bahamas where he resided for five years.  He matriculated for his residency at Grady Memorial Hospital in the Morehouse Surgery Residency Program. He successfully completed the  program in 1998.  He returned to the Bahamas where he practiced for 2 years before returning to Atlanta. He has been on staff at Northside Hospital and  Emory Healthcare  since 2002.  

Dr. Case  has performed thousands of Bariatric and General Surgical procedures over his 30 year surgical career. Unfortunately he no longer does bariatric procedures and primarily works in Acute Care Surgery. Dr. Case is a seasoned General Surgeon with particular interest in Laparoscopic procedures.  He has also pioneered abdominal procedures using mini-laparotomies.  He has enjoyed tremendous success with his surgeries.

He is passionate about his work and is beloved by his patients and the medical staff. His personality exudes self confidence and is instantly recognizable by his contemporaries. He has a calm demeanor and is very kind, patient and respectful of his patients and colleagues. 

While being an allopathic physician Dr Case recognizes the complete human and utilizes a holistic approach to his patients.
